Live! by Loews Hotel Will Officially Open Aug. 22 Inside Texas Live!

A mecca of entertainment in North Texas is about to come full circle with the near completion of Live! by Loews Hotel — Arlington, TX located inside Texas Live! 

Guests can enjoy the 14-floor, $150 million luxury hotel located in Arlington’s Entertainment District when it officially opens August 22. 

Its outdoor lounge and bar offers a view of the AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. It’s also currently situated next to the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park and will be part of the complex that holds the new Rangers' ballpark in 2020.

The construction process has taken about two years, but Managing Director Scott Nassar said this resort and Texas Live! Will change North Texas’ entertainment landscape. 

“Arlington is up and coming,” Nassard said. “It’s very unique because it’s an immersive destination with different sporting events. People love sports, here in the state of Texas, and we feel we’re at the epicenter coming forward.” 

The hotel was built by Loews Hotel & Co.. The Cordish Companies’ Live! Brand and the Texas Rangers. It has 302 rooms and 26 suites with floor to ceiling glass windows and a 14,000 square-foot ballroom that can host just under 1,000 people.

The hotel’s restaurant Cut & Bourbon offers a variety of American classics that pair well with its whiskeys, cocktails, wine and beer. It also features an infinity pool with a swim-up “Soak” poolside bar. 

“(Live! By Loews) competes with hotels from Dallas and Fort Worth,” Nassar said. “People want to have this entertainment environment, they want to have the ability to have a 'staycation' and do things that are extremely diverse.” 

Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor waterpark are also adjacent to the hotel, so Live! By Loews will cater to both business travelers and also families.
